School: How "Rogue One" Recreated Grand Moff Tarkin

One of the many gripes about the recent starwars movie was it's use of CGI to recreate the character Grand Moff Tarkin. What I ask is, 'how did they do it?' It's definitely getting close to reality here, but it's still not lifelike enough. Nonetheless it is still revolutionary for the industry. What comes next with this technology will be very fascinating.

What most people don't realize is the amount of work that went into creating this. Especially after seeing the Wired video below:
