Dream Sheep
Dream Sheep is a sweet animated short film that tells the story of a compassionate young girl, Emma and a lost sheep. Emma and the sheep quickly bond due to their similar playful imaginations. However, the little guy must get back to his home and family in order to restore Earth's sleep and dreams back to normal.
Animated films need sound built from the ground up, especially ones without dialogue. Dream Sheep is filled with the sound of a child's imagination. Every sound requires extra expressiveness. Emma's music box is special. We emphasized it's mechanics, gears, drawers, chimes, and windmill so that it blossoms out of pure fantasy. This is just one of many objects that we painted with colorful sounds. It was easy to be inspired by the story, music, and animation. This film is one of our favorites.
