Director Interview: “Every Day In Kaimuki” heads to Sundance!

We recently completed sound on an amazing feature film called ‘Every Day in Kaimuki’.

The story follows a young man who spent his whole life in a small suburb of Honolulu, Hawaii. Feeling unfulfilled, he is determined to leave in order to find his real purpose in life, but faces a number of struggles moving on from a town that knows him so well.

‘Every Day In Kaimuki’ premieres at Sundance this weekend, January 23rd at 4PM PT.

Alika Tengan is the director of ‘Every Day In Kaimuki’. Quinn met with Alika on Zoom to talk about the film. Some of the topics they discuss include:
